Iranian Forces State Attack on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Amid Regional Military Operations.
Iran's military claims to have hit a American military facility in Manama, as the country executed operations throughout the Middle East in response for a "massive" and ongoing offensive against it by the US and Israel.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an area near the command center of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The extent of any damage is uncertain and the United States has remained silent.
Regional Interceptions
Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - which all house US military bases - stated they have engaged and destroyed missiles in their territorial skies.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence said it had intercepted several missiles seemingly aimed at the al-Udeid air base, the largest American base in the Middle East.
Operation "Truthful Promise 4"
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated it was attacking American facilities and interests as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in retaliation for the strikes on the Islamic Republic launched by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday.
That preceding assault - launched at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted locations linked to the Iranian leadership, with President Trump encouraging the people of Iran to rise up against the leadership.

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard across the country after the Israeli military reported it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The defence ministry of the United Arab Emirates announced that the country has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems dealt with the missiles with notable success and destroyed a number of missiles," it added.
The statement noted missile fragments landed in a residential area in the capital, resulting in some material damage and killing a civilian.
The US Air Force is stationed at the Al Dhafra base, south of Abu Dhabi, along with the UAE Air Force.
