The Celtic boss insisted he had no concerns about losing his job, maintaining, “We are really close to things turning around,” in the wake of sliding worryingly close to being fired with a comprehensive loss to Rangers.

A Second-Half Meltdown Results in Old Firm Disaster

“I saw plenty of positives that we did, as was the case today. However comes down to performing for 90 minutes. My narrative would change the same. This is why I firmly believe we will manage to turn things around.”

Röhl’s Cautious Response

The victorious boss was cautious about a title charge even after what felt like a huge result. “Step by step, and we can gradually build a challenge,” he said. “The faith in the team is outstanding.”
